THE 2014 BUILDER OF THE YEAR

Steve started his construction career by purchasing and taking over a financially troubled water damage and restoration business. The positive response to his work was immediate and his construction business grew substantially. Ultimately, he developed Allenton Custom Homes and has enjoyed several years of success in the home building industry.

Allen takes a leading role in addressing issues that can make positive changes in the industry including design concepts, “green building” practices, Feng Shui principles and others. Every year since 2005, his model homes have been recognized with top awards during the Central Oklahoma Parade of Homes. Just recently, he has developed another residential construction company, AllenStyle Homes, that specializes in luxury living on a smaller scale.

For several years, Allen has served on the board of directors of the Central Oklahoma Builders Association and is on the legislative committee of the Oklahoma State Builders Association. Allen is married and lives in the Oklahoma City area with his wife Megan and four children:  Madison, Jacob, Andrew and Sydnee.
